Services & treatments

One body. One system. One approach.

Hands-on therapy, movement systems and coaching — chosen after assessment, not from a menu. Every path starts with the same complimentary consultation.

S01 · Hands-on therapy Stecco method

Fascia release

Unwind restriction. Restore glide. Release the whole chain.

Hands applying sustained pressure over the lower back

Fascial Manipulation as developed by Luigi Stecco, with the anatomical research of Carla Stecco, MD behind it. When hyaluronic acid within fascia thickens, layers stop sliding — densification — and load stops transferring cleanly. We locate those points through assessment and treat them specifically, rather than working the area that hurts.

This is right for you ifPain keeps returning · imaging is clear · relief from massage never lasts
Also treatsDigestive symptoms, period pain and pelvic discomfort via FMID
AfterwardsTemporary soreness or mild marking for 1–3 days is a normal response
S02 · Assessment Where every plan starts

Biomechanics

Move smarter. Stand taller. Feel stronger.

A runner's legs on a treadmill during a gait assessment

Pain shows up where load breaks down, not where the problem started. We screen gait, range, breath mechanics and load tolerance to map how force actually travels through your kinetic chain — then treat the link that is failing to contribute, wherever it happens to be.

This is right for you ifOne side always feels different · the same injury recurs · a plateau won't shift
ScreenedGait · rotation · breath · load transfer · compensation patterns
Useful forGolfers, runners, racket sports and anyone with a one-sided pattern
S03 · Movement system Swedish origin

Spiral stabilisation

Unwind dysfunction. Activate strength. Realign the spine.

A woman holding a stabilising position with a medicine ball

A conditioning method using resistance bands to train the spiral muscle chains — the pattern that lifts and decompresses the spine as you walk. Release without reload is temporary; this is how a corrected pattern learns to hold under real load. Available one-to-one, in small groups and online.

This is right for you ifDisc-related pain · recurring back pain · a job that keeps you seated
FormatOne-to-one, group or online · bands supplied
Between visitsTwo to four exercises. Not a sixty-minute routine
S04 · Hands-on therapy Recovery & maintenance

Sports massage

Recover faster. Train harder. Stay available.

Deep soft-tissue work on the lower back at the treatment table

Deep, purposeful soft tissue work for training loads and long weeks — flushing tissue, easing tone and keeping you available for the next session. Where symptoms keep returning we will say so, and move you onto assessment rather than selling you another massage.

This is right for you ifYou train regularly and want recovery, not diagnosis
TimingPre-event, post-event or as regular maintenance
Not a substitute forAssessment, if the same problem keeps coming back
S05 · Coaching Tissue quality & recovery

Nutrition

Fuel better. Recover better. Feel the difference.

A bowl of fruit, yoghurt and oats held in both hands

Hydration, protein and recovery inputs govern how tissue behaves — fascia included. Guidance here is practical and built around how you actually eat, alongside sleep and stress rather than in isolation from them. For digestive symptoms it works with fascia treatment, not instead of it.

This is right for you ifEnergy is flat, recovery is slow, or elimination diets haven't worked
ApproachAdjustments you can hold, not a plan you abandon in a fortnight
Pairs withFascia release for IBS · bespoke coaching for body composition
S06 · Programme Physio-led training

Bespoke coaching

The INPEAK method, applied over months.

A coach mobilising a client's leg on the training floor

Physio-led exercise, personal training and rehabilitation held inside one plan: spiral stabilisation, resistance and strength work, mobility, core stability and breathing, progressed against reassessment. This is where physiotherapy-style rehab and personal training meet — one practitioner, one thread, no handover.

This is right for you ifLong-standing or multi-region problems, or a performance deadline
IncludesSessions, between-visit programming and periodic reassessment
FormatIn person at Alderley Edge, or online where appropriate
